IVSS is Ia's integrated video recording system used in coordination Ia's numerous security products. Capable of recording multiple streams of digital video in day and night formats, this system alerts the proper authority when a sensor is triggered, suspicious behavior detected, or an incident takes place such as personnel intrusion, incorrect biometric identification, attempted fraudulent transactions on an ATM, radiation, chemical, biological or explosive detection.
During incidents the IVSS server automatically directs the high-speed cameras to capture video coverage the areas concerned with the incident to identify the vehicle, person or container that caused the alarm. The IVSS server then records and displays video associated with the area under surveillance. Video captured is time stamped, added to an incident report and stored in the video vault for future reference or evidence.
The IVSS can be expanded with optical character recognition to capture and then translate car and truck registration plates to an ID stored and accessed in a database. Similarly, the way bill associated with cargo container shipments for customs verification can be translated to an ID stored and accessed in a database tracking both the direction and loading of the container to the berth or vessel.
