The Vehicle/Pedestrian/Rail Detection System is either a fixed U-shaped frame or two 8' or 18' pillars housing advanced radioactive isotope detectors; vehicles or pedestrians pass through the structure. Ia uses these two configurations to protect the entrances to ports, government and business complexes, airports, train platforms, schools, toll booths, and special public events. Specifically, for ports, it prevents radioactive material from being transported from a ship to a land-based location.
